Why are bicycles allowed on school grounds but not skateboards, as this is the case in many school yards and campus grounds?Some will say that skateboards don't have brakes to stop if another child runs out in front of them but is it the fault of the skateboard itself or the fault of the child who ran out in front of the skateboard?What about children who use a skateboard to get to school? I am going to have a yard sale tomorrow and some of the toys are going... not many but some of them. | | My friend is so unhappy and upset, PLEASE HELP | | she has a beauty shop in town. yesterday, some skateboarders were skating around her shop and one almost knocked her down while she was sweeping out front. she has told them many times to skate elsewhere plus its against the law for them to skate there.[em]angry[/em] the one big kid got really rude with her and she pushed him with the broom. she is a little 64yrs. gal. he said he was calling the law on her since hes only 16. so SHE called the law then herself, which shes done many times already since they wont stop.. the police came out and was very rude to her.[em]shocked[/em] they gave her some kind of code to she wants me to look up. shes just been sick all night and upset about it. she asked me to look up the code but i dont know how. does anyone know how to look up codes for law enforcement? please help | |

1. For buying and selling there's the magic phrase "ebay completed listings"
Because the ebay completed listings is your insight into some valuable market details.
Here's how to access it: you simply go to the advanced search and check the box called "show completed listings only" and then search for any item you wish to buy low and sell high.
You get to see the latest prices an item sold for on ebay (listed in green), or if it didn't sell (listed in red).

While visiting the East Coast a few weeks ago, I dropped in on our family's old resort in S. Jersey...Avalon. The first thing you see after emerging from under the boardwalk at 21st St. is a rather large sign starting with the word NO in huge block letters. Next to the word NO is a litany of verboten activities...NO ball playing, NO pets, NO walking in the dunes,NO loud music, NO loitering under the boardwalk, NO alcoholic beverages (there's a liqu0r store 20 yards from the boardwalk), NO frisbees (that's nuts)...there's more, but I can't remember them all. Seems like a good time, in the borough gov't's eyes is a few thousand people sitting quietly with their hands folded, like good little boys and girls.
Here in the BayArea its pretty bad...parks and playgrounds with NO rollerskating, NO skateboards, NO radios...ad nauseum.
Why don't they save space and materials and put up a 2 word sign that says "NO FUN!!"I know that people abuse the privileges at times, but why is it a preconceived notion that we are ALL a bunch of destructive morons? I'm not going to accept the fact that everybody has to pay for the abuses of a few idiots...that worked in 1st, 2nd and 3rd... | |
