I currently play water polo myself and have represented south africa on a junior and senior level. I am presently coaching a schools senior 1st team here in my city as well. | Olympic sports you just don't understand | | Since I've been watching the Olympics I've encountered some new sports I never knew about before. Some of them are really cool like handball and rowing. However, there are some sports I just don't get at all even though I have watched them repeatedly and read the rules website. One of these is the race walk, because that doesn't look like a sport to me. Instead they just look like people that need to go to the bathroom! And my newest addition today, track cycling. I hope all you Brits can tell me about that because you seem to be really good at it but I didn't understand what the point was.Do any other Mylotters feel this way? Are there some sports you just don't get? And if so what are they? Maybe we can provide mutual exchange of information. | |
| | What's your nation's favorite spectator sport? | | I assume most guys enjoy watching sports,but many girls are crazy about it. For many years the favorite sport in our country has been Basketball. Basketball games draw a very large audience. Year after year the most important games have attracted many millions of viewers. soccer is also very popular. Indeed, most guys in China list soccer as their favorite sport. Soccer is almost as popular as basketball. Other sports which many people enjoy watching include tennis, boxing, and Pingpong.

| Would you expect to be invited to the Ribbon Cutting? | | If you were the president of local swim team who swims at the high school pool and will be moving to the new aquatic complex set to have a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.Your team trains young swimmers who eventually will be on the High School Swim Team and or Water Polo Team. (Have already given all their top swimmers and polo players)
You own a business and donated equipment to the school.
You will be a starting judge for the swim program.They have invited the obvious (city counselmen, mayor, big donors etc but would you expect to be invited?orWould you expect to be shunned and not even thought about?
