Yoga Pants Discussions| I LOVE victoria's secret!! | | My bras are all VS so are my panties. Everything that I wear daily usually is made by VS. My bra tops, yoga pants, shirts, sweaters...I do need more panties, bras, yoga pants as well as tops.I have bought their lotion and it gives me a rash, I think I'm just allergic to their lotions, creams, etc. I do like their perfumes. What do you guys love about VS and what do you have from them?
| | Did anyone see this season's Victoria's Secret catalog? | | And.. were you a little disappointed like me? Victoria's Secret usually sends out quarterly catalogs that usually have clothes (which they don't really sell in the store), yoga pants, shoes, and of course lingerie. I'm always excited to flip through the catalog to see some cute, sexy sweaters and jeans, even though I've never coughed up the large amount of money they ask to buy the ones I like. But still! I was disappointed when I got mine in the mail about a month ago because none of the designs were any cute. They were just weird, and not even very flattering on the models who wore them in the pictures. What's going on here?
I mean, I could think of some better designs than they did in this one!
Did anyone else notice this? Or do you have differing opinions than me?
| | do you dress sporty? | | I work at home so I love to dress sporty. I love yoga pants and belly sweaters, flip flops, or sneakers. Do you often dress sporty? | |
| | What is your style like? | | I LOVE shopping. I buy alot of clubwear, stilettos, spiked heels, lingerie. I adore leather and latex. I wear clubwear pretty much all the time. Sometimes, I am more casual, wearing jeans or tights, yoga pants, and flip flops. I am more of a dressy person. | |
| | how much do you think you can change your body in 6 weeks? | | I have been home now almost 3 months (unemployed). when i was working 12 hour days, i often skipped meals but was physically active. being home, i got lazy, depressed and often dressed in my "sloppy" clothes. you know, yoga pants and loose shirts. the inactivity and the winter (not wanting to take a walk-too cold) has had a negative effect on my once better body! I am going to wake up tomorrow, force myself to do an exercise tape, eat a healthy breakfast, flush my system all day with water with lemon and limit my computer time. My goal is to lose some weight and firm up in 6 weeks time. I think if i stick to it i can do it. | |
| | My frugal find yesterday! | | We went to Walgreens, my favorite corner store. They have a clearance bin at the back of the store. My first trip I got a memory cad for my digital camera for $8, regular price, $48! We went back later, they had yoga pants, shorts, t-shirts, tank tops and flannel jammy bottoms for $1 each. We spent $45 and saved $125!!!! We also picked up timers (for electrical outlets) for $1.50 each.
So we all got jammies, shorts and t-shirts. My daughter got gym clothes. in all, we spent about $70 for what would have cost $200. What a day! Any good deals for back to school?
| | Bad Clothes | | I'm doing laundry this morning and have some household chores facing me. Since all of my "good clothes" are in the laundry I had to reach into my drawer of "bad clothes."The "bad clothes" are mismatched, torn, worn out clothes that I keep on hand to just wear around the house when I have nothing clean to put on, or have a dirty chore to do. Or if I have to paint. I pray nobody sees them. I'm not going outside in these. The ones I have on today are a pair of yoga pants (the drawstring ones) with a hole in one knee and a stretched-out sweater. I'm so proud!Do you have a drawer of bad clothes? How bad are yours? | |
| | Traveling in Style | | By Lisa Kovalovich
'Tis near the season for traveling, and if you're like most women, you'll spend a lot of time sitting in a plane, train, or car over the next few months. And while traveling has lots of great rewards, it brings with it one big challenge: How to look good while doing it. Here, everything you need to know to make it to your destination in style.Tip #1: Wear comfy but neat clothes. No matter what your preferred mode of transportation, traveling inevitably includes lots of time sitting, usually in less-than-spacious quarters. What you wear for that sitting time should make you feel comfortable, able to move easily, and relaxed. Begin with your bottoms. Look for a pair of pants with some stretch to them. Jeans, yoga pants, and twills can all work well, provided they're roomy and neat. On top, try layers, since the temperature may be out of your control. Start with a long-sleeved thin cotton or silk tee.
| | Your fashion style? | | So talking in the various Goth threads just got me to thinking about fashion.....I knwo that alot of ppl (women in particular I find) tend to follow current trends or even just stick with one "style" of dress be it preppy, hippy/boho, goth, career etc etc etc....and I was wondering what ppl here dress like...do you stick to a certain "style"? Do you follow and keep up with current trends?I personally follow nothing in particular other than my mood (and budget LOL)....some days I feel like wearing a more gothy style clothes other days its Punk..and then there are the days I feel like wearing a classic pinup-girl style outfit or something comfy and relaxing like yoga pants and a tee shirt.other days I feel like wearing a classic victorian style dress and so on....Trends really do nothing for me and one "style" doesnt suit me becasue I am a rainbow of colour and moods if that makes sense...I think the only thing I really stick with is the heel height of my shoes...I'm a 4 1/2" - 5" heel kind of gal, its either that or flat and nothing in between but the styles vary from wedge to spike to chunky....what about you? and how important is it for you to be current or trendy or at... | |
